Is a coopertive that is the leading exporter of sesame in Nicaragua and the first certified fair trade sesaame supplier.

This project was started when the cooperative in La Rinconada finally obtained legalisation for their land and were in a position to capitilise.   Ethical Investments that have now become Etico lent   them $15,000.   The cattle are owned by a collective of 7 families   They have 50 heads of cattle they have enough cows for every family to have milk and cheese and they fatten calves to sell.   This year they have had no rain and have no beans or corn but they are surviving much better than in previous droughts because of the cattle.   It has also enabled them to have six of their children at secondary schools in Achuapa and El Sauce.
